Prana is a Sanskrit word that is translated as Energy. My Prana Health blog is about how to tap into the Human Energy Fields for healing. Energy is also information or in Sanskrit Samdista, and one who communicates information is called Samdistartha. As part of my academic preparation as a Naturopathic Doctor we are taught to be teachers and to communicate information, so we become “Samdisthartas”.
Part of our training also involves in learning how to use Homeopathic remedies and how these work at the Energy level to inform the body how to restore health. Thus Energy or Prana Healing is an integral part of Naturopathic Medicine. There are many ways to tap into the Healing Energy Fields, Homeopathic remedies are a very powerful one. Another of my favourites methods to access Energy is through breathing or Pranayama. I consider the air we breath as part of Nature, as plants symbiosis with humans is mediated by the air we breath. It is for this reason that I say, “Healing, One Breath at a Time.”
This blog is also about my journey to discover ways to tap and render Energy as a healing tool. It is also about how different Natural Healing modalities interact with the Energy to promote healing at all levels, starting from the biophysical, emotional, mental and reaching all the way into the spiritual levels.
I do not promise any miracles, but please when you read about my journey I ask you that you do it with a suspension of bias, judgement and disbelief. Only in that way will you benefit from reading it. I do not know the answers to the eternal questions “Who Am I?”, “Where do we come from?”, “How do we heal?” and building from where the Vedic and Chinese legacy are into the future is certainly a monumental task. So please, when responding to my blog, use your Energy wisely, and remember to breath. Rest assure that I will be blogging One Breath at a Time.
